As a  small business owner with over 30+ years in the service industry & small business arena, I feel very fortunate for the many opportunities that have been presented to me to learn & grow in the private business sector. I define a successful & positive client experience as giving my clients the desired outcomes they are looking for. This is, & continues to be, my #1 priority.

In 2013 I retired from a family owned business & opened Fur Their Comfort Pet Care specializing in providing personalized  care & dog walking services for busy pet parents.

My true passion is working with animals & their humans. Following my desire to pursue that passion while continuing to work at Fur Their Comfort Pet Care, I started my formal education in professional dog training. In 2014 I achieved my first certification, Dog Trainer Foundation Skills through the Karen Pryor Academy.

I achieved my second certification, the Dog Trainer program in 2020, (Karen Pryor Academy), and I began my journey of providing professional dog training & behavior consulting to clients in 2021.

​

In 2021 I received my third certification  with the Karen Pryor Academy, & became a Puppy Start Right Instructor.

As a positive reinforcement trainer, I strive to consistently deliver a quality service. This service  provides  real & measurable results through good old fashioned hard work, (but fun-I promise!), clear communication, & a collaborative approach with my clients & their pets. Through positive reinforcement training, your dog learns how to make a positive connection with you...without ever having the need to utilize force & intimidation. My clients will be given the tools they need to build a solid foundation with their pets all based on mutual love, trust, & companionship.
